NCVO Membership Schemes Conference – Tuesday 26th April 2008

This day long conference at will help you to manage your membership scheme more effectively. Experts in the field of membership schemes will share their knowledge and experience on how to get, engage with and retain members. The interactive and practical workshops will equip you with top tips to take away and apply to your own membership scheme.

The conference
The day starts with a plenary session where speakers will include: Diane Lightfoot, Director of Communications and Fundraising, United Response. Will Reeves, Membership Development Manager, Society of Operations Engineers (SOE) and Steve Grieve, Director, Membership Plus. This is followed by a choice of interactive workshops covering the fundamental nuts-and-bolts of membership, giving you practical tips you can take away and apply to your own scheme.
NCVO Third Sector Foresight session
We are running a session on why will people join your organisation in five years time, and how should you adapt now? This participative workshop will include case studies from the RSA and Ruralnet and examine the drivers shaping the future of membership.
